Kim Taylor returned to Ursinus in September, 2005 after a decade in private industry, and is thrilled to again be part of the Ursinus family. She earned an M.Ed. from University of Delaware in College Counseling/Student Personnel Administration and served as Assistant Director of Residence Life/Area Coordinator and Assistant Softball Coach at Ursinus from 1992 - 1996. In addition to her current responsibilities in Campus Safety, Dean Taylor also works with judicial affairs, coordinates the LGBTQA Connection, and serves as the College’s Title IX Coordinator.
An avid Philadelphia sports fan, Dean Taylor is looking forward to another parade down Broad Street very soon. She enjoys playing golf, running, and spending time with her family which includes her wife, Deb and their very active vizsla, Summitt. Dean Taylor and Deb stay busy in the community as co-chairs of “Chip In Golf”, an annual golf outing to benefit The Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation.
Dean Taylor says: “The best part of my job is to know that we can make a difference and help a student grow. If our students leave Ursinus more prepared to tackle the world, we have succeeded.”
