HOW WE HELP
The Career Services Office assists students and alumni in the various stages of career exploration and planning. A successful career plan and job search begins with a thorough understanding of one's interests and values, the development of essential life skills, and the acquisition of career-related information. The Career Services Office offers programs, resources, and services designed to help at all stages of the decision-making and planning process.
A career advisor can assist you with academic and career decisions, including: choosing a major, exploring career options, job searching strategies and interview preparation and resume guidance. Call 610-409-3599, email, or stop by Career Services in Bomberger 110 to schedule an appointment with an advisor.
We use a variety of assessment tools to help students identify their interests, skills, values and personality preferences. All of these tools are extremely useful as starting points to your career search, but do not provide definitive solutions or prescribed career paths to follow.
Draft a rough copy of your resume and bring it in to the Career Services office for feedback. You can either schedule an appointment to meet with a advisor OR upload your resume for evaluation at UC CareerNet.
