Intellectual Property Workshop

At this workshop, an experienced attorney will discuss how individuals, startups and businesses of all types can identify and protect their intellectual property. Doug Ryder handles the full scope of intellectual property matters including client counseling, preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, preparation of copyright registration applications, patent and trademark searches, legal opinions including patentability, trademark ability, infringement, and clearance opinions, licensing agreements, and procurement of intellectual property rights.

What is the U-Imagine Center?

Ursinus College teaches students to dream big and live even bigger. As one of three major interdisciplinary centers on campus, the U-Imagine Center for Integrative and Entrepreneurial Studies teaches students of all majors how to transform their ideas into reality. What do we do?

The U-Imagine Center focuses on encouraging students to think like an entrepreneur. We help students develop lifelong skills such as leadership, time management, negotiation, and many more. Check out our programs here! We offer a robust series of events.

  • The INSPIRE Series brings entrepreneurs and speakers to campus to teach students valuable business lessons.
  • The IMPACT Curriculum offers students the opportunity to take curricular offerings to enhance their skills in innovation and entrepreneurship.
  • The ImagineU Programming engages students in competitions and activities to facilitate entrepreneurial attitudes.
