November 1 - Action Required: Testing this Week and Info on Boosters

Good afternoon! I hope you a good homecoming and Halloween weekend. With the large number of visitors on campus this weekend, we would like to get a clear sense of the health of campus. If you were in contact with visitors or large groups, we are encouraging you to test this week even if it is not your scheduled week. Please use any of the hours below to get tested. We appreciate your commitment to our testing program!

Weekly Testing Schedule in Lower Level of Myrin Library:

Monday: 4 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wednesday: 4 to 8 p.m.
Thursday: 4 to 8 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Many of you have been asking about COVID-19 boosters. If you are interested, several local pharmacies are offering boosters for the COVID vaccine. As a member of the Ursinus community, living in a congregate setting, you would be eligible to schedule an appointment for your booster, as long as you are 6 months from your second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or 2 months from your J&J vaccine. For more information about choosing your booster and the benefits, please click here.

To easily find a pharmacy in the area that has your preferred vaccine, you can go to https://www.vaccines.gov/ to search the 19426 zip code.

Thank you,

Missy Bryant
