HEP Professors Receive APS Society and Penn Center Fellow Awards

Dr. April Carpenter and Dr. Catherine van de Ruit recently received Fellow Awards.

Health and Exercise Physiology Assistant Professors, Dr. April Carpenter and Dr. Catherine van de Ruit, were recently named fellows at institutions and programs in their respective discipline.

Dr. Carpenter was chosen as a 2018 Physiology Education Community of Practice (PECOP) Program Fellow.

The PECOP project is designed to build a growing and dynamic community of
undergraduate physiology educators.

Dr. van de Ruit has been named an adjunct fellow at the Penn Center for Public Health Initiatives.  

The Center for Public Health Initiatives (CPHI) is a university-wide center founded in 2007 by the University of Pennsylvania Provost’s Office. CPHI promotes interdisciplinary research, education and practice in public health.
