PSYC faculty and student present at national conference

Dr. Vanessa Volpe and Athena Gainey (class of 2020) attended the 2019 Society for Research in Child Development conference in Baltimore, Maryland, the premier national conference in developmental psychology. Together they presented their research on  “Utilizing a Secondary Traumatic Stress Lens to Understand the Consequences of Vicarious Online Discrimination in a Sample or Diverse Late Adolescents” which was part of a paper symposium on “Online Discrimination and Adolescent Development” chaired by Dr. Noelle Hurd of University of Virginia.
