Looking for federal government online resources about coronaviruses and COVID-19? Here are some to view and bookmark as good sources:

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – Coronavirus Disease 2019. This website contains information about COVID-19 symptoms, prevention guidelines, data regarding cases and deaths in the United States, how to travel during the pandemic, community mitigation strategies in various settings including workplaces, and schools. Also, as part of the Mortality and Morbidity Weekly Report series, the CDC offers the COVID-19 Briefing, a weekly podcast providing the latest scientific information from the CDC COVID-19 response.

Coronavirus.gov This website, sponsored by the U.S. Whitehouse, CDC, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), is a portal that provides answers to the public for basic questions about COVID-19 and coronaviruses. The answers are provided by various governmental agencies including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the U.S. Treasury, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) – Coronaviruses This webpage provides information about up-to-date COVID-19 treatment guidelines, COVID-19 testing, clinical trials, National Institutes of Health (NIH) COVID-19 funding opportunities, as well as the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Strategic Plan for COVID-19 Research FY 2020-2024.

USA.Gov/Coronavirus This is an interagency website providing a listing of various governmental agencies with information about the coronavirus including: the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Department of Defense (DOD), the Department of Labor (DOL), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), amongst many others.

Pennsylvania – Department of Health – Coronavirus (COVID-19) This website provides COVID-19 data for Pennsylvania, as well as the latest guidance for prevention, travelling and community mitigation strategies for schools and workplaces in Pennsylvania. A listing of Pennsylvania agencies with pertinent information about COVID-19 is located on this website, as well as information about the COVID Alert PA App.

Montgomery County, PA – Coronavirus – COVID-19    Basic symptoms and prevention Information, maps, data and resources about the Coronavirus outbreak in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania are found on this webpage. Data found on dashboards, updated daily, includes new cases in the county, positive cases and deaths, a chart showing 14-day positivity rates, and a breakdown of positive cases and deaths by municipality.
