His passion for helping students of various backgrounds and levels to grasp scientific concepts is clear, and he thoroughly enjoys seeing them stretch their imaginations to think beyond the present experiments to what may be on the horizon, and why?


Brian Keeny has always used his inquisitive mindset to be a problem solver and an innovator in both the chemical engineering and education fields. He has conducted research and applications engineering in the polymers and coatings laboratories of major international companies. He also worked on environmental initiatives and improvements in lab organization. He then transitioned into secondary and post-secondary science education teaching chemistry, physics, biology, and anatomy/physiology.
