Nikki is a student training for a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. In August 2019, she received her Master’s degree from Chestnut Hill College and is beginning to work on her dissertation focusing on Asian Americans in Therapy. She is originally from Maryland and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. She has previous experience working in adolescent behavioral health hospitals, LGBT counseling centers, and inpatient substance abuse hospitals and is looking forward to working on a college campus. She has experience with working with individuals with diverse ranges of concerns and adopts an integrative, collaborative therapeutic approach that emphasizes self-efficacy, empathy, and internal motivation. She is passionate about music, and in her free time collects vinyl records and plays the piano.
