Sue Valerio Sladen

In Sue’s role as the Director of Career and Post-Graduate Development, she provides strategic vision for the office, represents the College among external stakeholders, and serves as the primary voice for students on careers and professional growth. She collaborates with faculty to connect academic preparation, curriculum, and post-graduate success. In addition, Sue guides the development of new and strengthens existing employer partnerships to ensure student career and graduate school attainment. She provides individualized career coaching to students and alumni.

Background

Sue has 20+ years of experience in higher education and career development. For the past 15 years, Sue worked in MBA Career Management at The Wharton School of Business at The University of Pennsylvania. At Wharton, she provided career advising for students and alumni, and oversaw the Career Fellows program, providing student mentorship and interview preparation programming. Prior to Wharton, Sue served as the Director of Cooperative Education and Career Services at Drexel University. She lives in Skippack and enjoys yoga, live music, and hiking with her spouse and two children.
