About

I am currently in my fifth year of my teaching career, and fourth year teaching Health and Physical Education at the Spring-Ford Eighth Grade Center. I also serve as the Head Junior Varsity Baseball and Assistant Varsity Baseball coach, and the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Complete Game of PA, an athletic training facility in my community. I graduated from Lock Haven University in December of 2021 with my Master’s of Science in Sport and Exercise Psychology. Ursinus and the HEP Department encouraged me to work outside of my comfort zone and taught me what it means to be a professional. The HEP Department allowed me the opportunity to gain valuable field experience during my course work so I could learn the application of all I was being taught within the classroom. My professors demanded high quality preparation and thorough self-reflection during each of their courses - essential qualities of what it means to be a professional. My experience at Ursinus - especially within the HEP Department - prepared me for my career and beyond, and instilled in me a desire to always learn, always grow, and always improve, and for that I am extremely grateful for the incredible people that I had the opportunity to learn from all throughout the Health and Exercise Physiology Department.
