The Association of Latinos Motivated to Achieve (A.L.M.A) is an organization which strives to educate students on the issues affecting the Latino community.
Promotes unity and spreads awareness of the identities who belong to the Latinx, Afro-Latinx, indigenous and multi-racial Latinx communities.
The purpose of the UC MAPS Chapter would be to provide students (with an emphasis on those underrepresented) with knowledge, skills, and experiences that are both prerequisite and in connection with professional participation in health care fields.
The purpose of this organization shall be to foster a sense of awareness and promote educational and cultural programs throughout the Ursinus Community.
The educational and cultural programming shall be unique to the culture of African and/or African-American ancestry. However, the organization is open to all students. For all those interested, Sankofa Umoja Nia meets on a bi-weekly schedule.
