Wireless Access

Library & Information Technology maintains two wireless (WiFi) network environments on campus, accessible to all students, faculty, staff and visitors.

Ursinus Secure

This is the preferred network for all student/faculty/staff devices that have the ability to enter Ursinus login credentials (laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc). This network provides full access to the wireless system and all of its capabilities to the campus community. The traffic over this Wifi will be encrypted in WPA in the over-the-air segment.

Ursinus Public

This network is intended for guests and students/faculty/staff devices that do NOT have the capability of entering login credentials for devices - (basic phones, gaming controllers, smart TVs, and other entertainment systems). This network also provides full access to the network and all of its capabilities, however it is not encrypted. To access this network you need to register your device.

To register a device on the Ursinus WiFi network, from a computer on the Ursinus Secure network visit:

and login with your Ursinus Credentials
